About Julianne

Julianne Hatherly is an ANZACATA Certified Art Therapist and NDIS Service Provider with a Bachelor of Art Education and Masters in Art Therapy.

Her expertise includes children’s workshops exploring self-expression via development of practical and conceptual art skills. She provides holiday art days and has a special interest in supporting AS children to build self-esteem and social connections.

Julz is also a practising artist and maker specialising in acrylic and bespoke artisan pieces. Her murals can be seen at the Gymea Community Preschool and St George Public Mental Health Unit. She has worked at the Cook School, NSW facilitating art therapy groups for primary aged children with Autism. She has run studio markets and exhibited and sold her work at Hazelhurst Made by Hand Market, One Off Studio Engadine, Friends of Hazelhurst Exhibition and Oyster Bay Arts & Crafts Market. Julz completed her Masters in Art Therapy placement at Waratah Mental Health Unit in Campbelltown where she provided art therapy for adults both individually and in groups.
